Lived in town a while but had yet to establish with a mechanic, getting work done as needed when it came up. Needed scheduled maintenance and called around, J1 offered the best price by far. My car is older and in bad shape, and when calling to let me know my car was ready to be picked up, John let me know all the issues that were wrong in addition to what I'd had done. What was exceptional is that he told me what was the highest priority and what was the most expensive and could wait. Have yet to return for further work, but I have a very good feeling about this shop - honest and reasonably-priced.
Great customer service. My brother found this place and took his car for an oil change but they found out his shocks were leaking and needed to be replaced. They gave him a timeline and were able to complete the repair the next weekend once the parts arrived. He dropped off his car at 10am on Friday and it was ready to pick up around 2 I believe.
I took my car there and they fixed it with one little part when Auto air said I needed a whole new system they saved me 2200.00 thank you guys so much.
My transmission broke down. I called my dealership and got a price quote for a re-built transmission for about $5100. I had the car taken to another place for a second opinion, they told me it'll be a free evaluation. A "week" later they called that they need to take the car apart for $880 to properly diagnose what needs to be re-built. Their quote was $5600... really? Higher than dealership??? I had them put the car back together and called around and got few quotes around $3300 - $3500. I took it to J1 Auto Transmission and was pleasantly surprised from the initial phone call. Very friendly and attentive customer service. I had my car towed in. My car was done in 3 days. This place did a great job, they have a wonderful customer service and are priced well.
Just came for an oil change & tire rotation. They were very prompt & attentive to what needed to be done. Didn't suggest any needless services & I found them to be reasonably priced. They even brought a previous service from another company to my attention that was less than stellar, so I will be following up on that--something I would not have noticed on my own!! Thanx! I found my "service station"!
